Senior Hamas leaders leave Cairo after talks. Trump says, "We must be good to Gaza."

A big group from Hamas left Cairo late on Saturday. They talked with Egyptian leaders about stopping the fighting and bringing help to Gaza.

The group was led by Muhammad Darwish. Other important leaders were with him, like Khaled Meshaal and Khalil al-Hayya.

They talked about a plan for peace. They want to stop the fighting, exchange prisoners, and help people. They agreed to keep working together to make this happen.

They also talked about the bad situation in Gaza. They said it is very important to bring help to the people there.

Israel started bombing Gaza again in March. They want to make Hamas agree to a peace deal and free 59 Israeli hostages. More than 2,151 Palestinians have died, according to health officials.

The health ministry said 52,243 people have died in the conflict. This includes many children and women. They do not say who is a civilian or a fighter.

In January, Israel said it killed 20,000 Hamas fighters since October 7.

A UN official in Gaza said life for Palestinians is getting worse. They ran out of food in Gaza. Human rights workers say Israel uses hunger as a weapon, but Israel denies this.

People in Gaza are not safe. Many are dying slowly. They feel like their lives are being destroyed.

The head of Mossad, David Barnea, was in Qatar for talks about peace. There was no big news from these talks.

Mediators in Qatar think there was some progress last week. They believe both sides want to stop the fighting.

On Friday, US President Donald Trump said he told Israel to help Gaza. He said there is a big need for food and medicine.

The president did not say what the US is doing to help Gaza.

Earlier this month, Israel suggested a peace plan. They want Gaza to give up weapons but do not promise to stop the war. This goes against what Hamas wants.
