A new lawsuit was filed on Tuesday. It says that Elon Musk and his group did not pay workers. These workers helped with his pro-Trump campaign in 2024.

In the last part of the 2024 campaign, Musk and his group, America PAC, gave $100 to voters. These voters were in important states. They got the money for signing a paper about free speech and gun rights. They also got $100 for each new voter they got to sign. The goal was to get conservative voters excited and help Donald Trump win. He won Pennsylvania by a small amount in November.

A man from near Philadelphia filed the lawsuit. He did not give his name because he is scared. He says he is owed $20,000 for getting signatures in Pennsylvania. The lawsuit says there may be at least 100 more people who are also owed money. This news comes after reports about late or missing payments from the group.

The man's lawyer, Shannon Liss-Riordan, told CNN, “This lawsuit is about keeping promises.” The man thought he could pay his bills because of this promise. He worked hard during the campaign because Musk asked him to. He believed in Musk.

A spokesman for America PAC, Andrew Romeo, said they did nothing wrong.

He said, “America PAC will pay for every real petition signature. We have paid many millions of dollars to workers for their hard work.” He also said the group wants to stop fraud and can hold back payments to fraudsters.

In the last week, Musk started his 2024-style giveaways again in Wisconsin. He offered $1 million cash prizes while he campaigned for a conservative candidate for the state Supreme Court.

Musk and his group said during the 2024 campaign that their cash giveaways did not break any laws. They said they did not run an illegal lottery.

The Justice Department warned the group in October about its $1 million contest for voters. The district attorney in Philadelphia, who is a Democrat, tried to stop the daily giveaways in court. He said it was not legal.

Liss-Riordan, who filed the new lawsuit on Tuesday in Pennsylvania, has sued Musk's social media platform before. She also tried to remove Trump from the 2024 ballot in Massachusetts. She said it was because of a rule in the US Constitution.
